Harry Potter Treats That Are Perfect For Fall

I’ll admit it: I’m a stereotypical white girl who loves fall, leggings, boots, and her pumpkin spiced lattes, and I’m totally not sorry about it. Still, even I think that the pumpkin love can go a bit overboard at times. I love my pumpkin spiced lattes, pumpkin break, and pumpkin cookies, but there are SO MANY tasty treats to make for yourself, your friends, and family as we head into fall. More specifically, there are a ton of awesome Harry Potter-themed treats that can bring your love of all things autumn together with your love of the Boy Who Lived. So, as we’re starting to see the weather begin to change and the leaves are slowly but surely starting to shift from green to yellow, I thought I’d give you a few tasty treats to help you gear up for fall in the geekiest of ways. Here are a few geeky treats that will get you READY for fall, and give you a bit of respite if you’re already over Pumpkin Spiced Everything!

Golden Snitch Caramel Apple Cider (Rosanna Pansino)

I am a sucker for all things caramel apple cider. It’s TOTALLY not good for you, but there is something about cider that makes me INSTANTLY feel ready for fall. This recipe from Rosanna not only lets you enjoy some tasty caramel apple cider, but it also is full of Harry Potter love.

Butterbeer (Tipsy Bartender)

There are lots of non-alcoholic versions of Butterbeer, but usually they are so CRAZY sweet that I can’t take more than a couple of sips. This alcoholic version will give the drink a bit of bite, and make you feel a little less like you’re just ingesting sugar.

Pumpkin Juice (Agressive Comix)

Pumpkin juice has always been a bit of an enigma to me. Though I love all things pumpkin, especially around fall, there’s just something about pumpkin juice that sounds…unappealing. Still, fall is the season where pumpkin gets to shine, and even if you end up hating it, at least you can say you gave pumpkin juice a shot.

Pumpkin Pasties (Feast of Fiction)

While I might be skeptical about pumpkin juice, I am certainly NOT skeptical about pumpkin pasties. These things look AMAZING, and I submit that there is nothing better than having  your home smell like pumpkin-flavored baked goods in the thick of fall.

Cauldron Cakes (Let’s Eat Fiction!)

Fall baking is great, but let’s face it: baking is best when it involves some chocolate. This cauldron cake recipe will definitely give you your chocolate fix–and it’s also a SUPER cute baked good that can totally help you impress others at parties.

What are some Harry Potter or other fandom treats you’ll be making this fall? Let me know your faves in the comments!

OMG these all look amaaaaazing. I swear I’m the last person on Earth who has yet to try a “pumpkin spice” something. I’m changing that this Fall. It’s on my list lol. I LOVE this list. Hogwarts always seemed like the place to be around the holidays XD a harry potter themed Halloween party would be rad.

YUM YUM YUM YUUUM ugh I am so obsessed with Autumn anything and HP definitely FALLs into that category. I gave Butterbeer a whirl last year, and it was okay, but I’m definitely planning on trying different versions of it this year. ;P All of these are so wonderful!! 🙂

Mmm, pumpkin pasties. We actually have a food truck called the London Calling Pasty Company in our city that is a double-decker English bus. You can actually eat on the bus, and they sell things like Bangers and Mash along with meat pasties. But I’ve never tried to make one myself!
