Kendall’s #GeekySummerReads: Asylum

Over the course of the summer months, I’ll be going through a reading list that I’ve created for myself. The books I’ve chosen have some sort of a supernatural, sci-fi, general geeky feel to them. Asylum is the story of three teenagers, Dan, Abby, and Jordan, who are taking a summer courses at the New Hampshire College Prep program. The only problem is, the college’s usual summer housing isn’t available, and the students are forced to stay in the Brookline Dorm—which just so happens to be a former psychiatric hospital. As the trio begins to explore the dark halls and hidden areas of Brookline, they slowly begin to uncover the hospital’s dark secrets, as some terrifying things that simply refuse to remain hidden…
